What happens when

SEO is slow on purpose: Google tests new pages before it trusts them. Here is the honest timeline, so you know what “working” looks like at each stage. Your dashboard shows where you are on it, and your weekly report tracks the numbers that move first.

  1. Weeks 1–2 Foundations No change in Google traffic yet. That is normal: Google has not looked at the new pages.Watch: Articles published, technical checks passed
  2. Days 15–30 Google discovers you Articles get indexed and start appearing in search results, usually far down the list. Clicks are rare.Watch: Articles indexed, first appearances in Google
  3. Days 31–60 Climbing Appearances grow week to week. Some searches move into the top 50, a few into the top 20.Watch: Searches in the top 50 and top 20
  4. Days 61–90 First page-one results The first specific questions reach Google’s first page and the first visitors arrive. AI assistants may start mentioning you.Watch: Searches on page one, first clicks, AI mentions
  5. Month 4 on Compounding Most articles settle into their long-term position at 3 to 6 months. Growth comes in steps, not a straight line.Watch: Visitors and leads from search

Why there is a ceiling

Each website gets at most 8 articles a month and one a day, whatever the plan. Publishing faster than a real business could write is exactly the pattern Google’s spam policy targets. Some AI blog tools sell 50 articles a month; for a small business site we think that’s a liability, not a feature.

What one article costs us, honestly

Research, writing and two rounds of checking cost us roughly $0.30 to $1.00 in AI fees per article. You’re paying for the system that decides what to write, refuses to publish weak work, publishes on schedule and reports back, every week, without you.
